Fridays 10.30am - 12.30pm A flexible art space where you can work on personal projects or explore our weekly art prompts. We provide a supportive environment and optional materials to help your creativity flow every Friday morning. This is not quite an art class - more of a creative session. There is no teacher scheduled, although there will always be an artist on staff who is present to act as your artist mentor. If you don't have a BYO project to bring with you, we can help you with an art kit or prompt kit and materials (see below re pricing). There are two options for how to participate: Option 1: BYO Project Single Session booking - BYO project and materials and book into the session you want to attend for $20. If you have a concession card of any sort, or you are booked into one of our term courses with Karen or Rain, it is $15. Option 2: If you don't have a current project but know that you want to be creative in some way, you can come for the base price initially and then purchase to use a variety of our materials and be inspired by the art prompts or art kits that we will have available. base price plus a kit - kits start at $10. The kits will be on top of the base price and what is available may vary, however, there will always be a basic collage option, an acrylic painting option and a drawing option which will be approximately $10-15 on top of the base price. Please note this is a new initiative and kits and prices is a developing area! However, just book in for the base price and then choose which pack or kit you want on the day. Please note: if you have a specific project that you would like to work on, or would appreciate creative mentorship, this can be arranged individually as part of the Friday Creative Community Sessions. We are looking at packages to offer for multiple purchases. We are happy to adapt these sessions where possible so please get in touch if you have any questions or suggestions.
