Art Courses & Classes
We offer high-quality, small-scale art classes and courses
in the Dandenong Ranges. We specialise in adult classes but have started to offer kids classes.
Our mediums include oil and acrylic painting, drawing, mixed media, collage and more.
Our small class sizes (12 maximum with an average of 8-10 more often) provide premium and
personally engaging experiences for participants learning from local artists.
We offer classes & courses at a variety of levels such as
Open (any/all levels), Beginner, Intermediate & Masterclasses. Each term is a different mix.

Individual sessions, of between 2-5 hours over a day.
These classes offer the most variety teaching mediums and approaches.
Art courses are multi session classes, that follow the school term dates.
Think 'Paint 'n Sip' type class except we don't just do painting!
These classes on a Friday evening are focused on being fun and social.
They all come with light nibbles.
If you wish to arrange a class like this just for you and a group of friends, we can also do
special events at tunes when there are no other classes, or we may be able to come to you.
Friday mornings from 10.30am - 12.30pm are a special sort of session.
They are open sessions where we won't have a secific teacher, although there will always be an 'artist tutor' present.
These are an opportunity for people who like to create with other people, but without the expense of specific classes. There are various options for how to participate.
If you feel like you want to do something creative, but don't know what, you can turn up, and we will have materials avilaible as well as a variety of suggestion kits that can be purchased.
1. BYO Project $25: Bring your own project and all materials and join us for some company and conversation.
2. Kit Project - price depends on project: This is when you are going to use our materials. We have a range of base materials that you can choose from, however, you may also need to purchase some speciality items (e.g. canvas, high quality items, oil paints, see below)
Sample speciality items that will need to be purchased:
- Canvas'
- Brushes you want to take home (you can use ours while you are here)
- Some high quality paper
- If you are primarily using oil paints, this comes with an extra cost
- Speciality 'kits' including instructional information about techniques, and 'How to start a project' suggestion kit
- Art Kits (we will have a growing variet of adult appropirate kits which provide materials and instructions) . If you purchase these kits, you can enter using Option 1: BYO Project

Accessability Information
