Georgia Clark

Oil paint

Georgia has been painting on and off for most of her life and more recently as a full time career, now living and working from her home in the Dandenong Ranges. While she works between various mediums including acrylic and collage, her favourite is oil for its rich colours, smells, versatility, tactile nature and its ability to be convey dreamy washes to the thick, rich work of the palette knife. Her work is driven by introspection and draws inspiration from the emotions of the passing and layering of time, including fleeting observations and the beauty of the natural world. She finds the act of creating something out of nothing to be a constant wonder and never ending pursuit.
