Sunday 15th November Time 1.30-4.30pm Teacher: Mary McCowan Beginners welcome - all welcome! For the creative seeking new ways of self-expression & anyone who thinks they ‘aren’t creative’ Inspired by her work in her exhibition in our Salon Space ‘Gathered’, (see the exhibitions tab on our website for information about her exhibition) Mary will lead you through a playful, uncensored, intuitive art making process for the so-called non-artistic and those seeking new ways of self expression. She will draw on her 3 ingredient recipe - tools, materials & technique - to guide you through her loosely structured process of creating. Inspired by the words “mancipated, unshackled, unfettered” to lead you through an inclusive mixed media and textile focused process focused on how you engage with the process of creation and the materials without being tied to the final product and instead allow the process to flow. All materials provided - but bring any textiles that inspire you!
