Service Description
Sunday 6th December 1.30-3.30pm Teacher: Gabby Willmott Beginners to advanced $60 Develop your sketching abilities with some ‘plein air’ or ‘out door’ sketching or painting at the Kalorama Lookout overlooking the Silvan Reservoir and around the The Listening Place node of the Ngurrak Barring. As this is an outdoor session, Gabby will provide an introduction at Art & Alchemy Gallery and will then direct participants to find a place to set up for some sketching and she will move between participants offering assistance for the rest of the session. Throughout the session participants may be encouraged to explore different locations and different perspectives. Meet at Art & Alchemy Gallery & Studio for the initial introduction and to ensure everyone has what they need, as it will be easier to communicate inside and then the group will (carefully) cross the road to find their first location. Please note: this will be run subject to weather conditions! Please be sure to check your emails the day before to ensure if the session will go ahead and to check any final information about the day. What to bring - If you have one - some form of clipboard to hold your paper pad. However, we have a select number of these at Art & Alchemy Gallery in either an A4 or A3 size. Email us once you have booked if you wish to reserve one. - Chair - preferably something easy to carry - Pencils / Pens - can be coloured pencils - Eraser & sharpener - Sketch pad of desired type (e.g. cartridge) at any size that you are prepared to hold (a small travel journal or A4 but A3 may be suitable if you have some experience). -Gear appropriate for the weather - hat, sunscreen, wind jacket -Water bottle Please note: - Classes are subject to minimum numbers of enrollments. - If sold out, please email at art@artandalchemygallery.com for wait list
